e-blast limited provides full surface preparation and coatings services from an extensive new facility which is amongst the most advanced in Scotland.

Equipment is prepared and coated in accordance with e-blast’s proven quality assurance procedures to meet customer’s specifications.

Our location at Midmill Industrial Estate, Kintore, just off the A96, means ease of access, including Aberdeen which is around 10 minutes away.

Delivering services principally to the offshore oil and gas industry, work undertaken ranges from shotblasting in preparation for inspection to multi-coat systems following the main paint specfications.

Examples include:

·	Subsea topside splash zone marine environment and specialist coating available including Thermally Sprayed Aluminium (TSA)
·	Spool work
·	Structural steelwork
·	Accommodation modules and containers up to the largest transportable by road
·	Pipe baskets and frames to the largest size
·	50 gas cylinders shotblasted, primed and top coated in a day
·	Drill pipes externally shotblasted for inspection

Purpose built plant incorporates state of the art equipment. The latest Gietart eight wheeled multi angled shotblasting machine, the only one of its kind in North-East Scotland. With the capacity to hold up to 1.600mm wide, 1.400mm high and 26 metres long. 2 blast halls with fully recoverable hardened grit recovery systems, delivering an adjustable key factor to all surfaces with an option on Hall 2 to change to olivine, garnet, aluminium oxide and copper slag. Both halls are built in state of the art safety equipment and platforms, plus a pulse jet system to ensure a clean working environment.
